Additional Information | Williamson received his medical degree in 1833 from the University of Pennsylvania. By 1848, he was professor of obstetrics at the Homeopathic Medical College of Pennsylvania, and in 1852 was made professor of materia medica and therapeutics. Williamson served as president of the American Institute of Homeopathy (1846), president of the Homeopathic Medical Society of the State of Pennsylvania (1868), and was co-editor of the 'North American Journal of Homeopathy' from 1862 to 1869. |
